Catwell House is a peaceful, 17th-century country-house B&B located at the end of a long private drive that overlooks fields and the West Somerset countryside between the Quantocks, Exmoor National Park and the sea. Catwell House is just a 5-minute level walk from the village of Williton with the MacMillan Way West and other lovely footpaths right outside our gates. The Coleridge Way is 1/2 a mile away and the Quantocks and Jurassic coast are a 40 minute walk from here. Guests will find a range of pubs, a restaurant, shops and services in Williton. Catwell House is spacious, charming and has cosy log fires and old beams. Free hi-speed Wi-Fi throughout the property and all bedrooms have flat-screen TV with Freeview channels, fridge, Egyptian cotton bed linen and a complimentary hospitality tray. Enjoy a cream tea in our secluded sunny garden in the summer or tea & crumpets by the fire in the winter. Why not join us for supper and bring your own wine. Private secure parking is available on site. The village of Williton features a station on The West Somerset Railway. Exmoor National Park, Quantock Hills and Jurassic Coast are approximately a 40 minutes walk or 2 miles from Catwell House B&B. Bristol & Exeter Airports are approximately 65 minute drive and Taunton Railway Station and Taunton Coach Station are 16 miles or 25 minute drive from the property, transfers can be arranged on request.
